Revolutionising Recycling: From Waste to Resource
Our innovative recycling practices play a pivotal role in our sustainability strategy. At the GRAF Competence Centre for Raw Materials in Herbolzheim, we transform everyday plastic waste into high-quality raw materials—such as yoghurt pots and shampoo bottles. Our advanced technology uniquely separates black plastics, a process unparalleled by other facilities, allowing us to utilise over 70% recycled materials in our product range.
The Competence Centre is a beacon of 100% sustainability, embodying our commitment to local job creation, resource conservation, and production of environmentally friendly products. It uses rainwater as process water and coolant, minimising our ecological footprint. By repurposing plastic waste, we prevent the emission of 100,000 tonnes of CO2 annually, the equivalent of the emissions from 60,000 passenger cars.
