GRAF UK sponsors the GRAF UK Stadium and The Watering Hole, home to Banbury Rugby Football Club.

On paper, that’s a fairly straightforward sponsorship.

But when you look at everything that’s happened around it, we think it tells a much more interesting story.

Because for us, Banbury Rugby Club has become about far more than rugby.

More than a matchday

Of course, rugby is at the heart of the club.

But one of the things we’ve really seen through our involvement is just how many different people a local sports club can bring together.

The Watering Hole

The Watering Hole has become a big part of that.

On matchdays, it’s somewhere for supporters to meet before and after the game.

But outside of rugby, it gives us and the wider community a space that can be used for events, networking and simply bringing people together.

We’ve always believed that some of the best conversations happen when you create the right environment for them.

The Watering Hole does exactly that.

Business, community and opportunity

There’s another reason this partnership matters to us.

GRAF is based locally. Many of our team live locally. We employ people from the area and work with businesses across it.

Business can meet sport. Young people can meet potential employers. Customers can meet other customers. Local organisations can meet people they might otherwise never come across.

You can’t necessarily put a value against every one of those conversations.

But that doesn’t mean they don’t have value.
