Twelve months ago, David Stagg took to the stage at Strictly Banbury for the first time. It was a personal challenge and a step well outside his comfort zone, and this year, he returned, not as a newcomer, but as a pro.
Paired with dance partner Katy, David’s journey over the past year has been defined by discipline and determination. Countless hours of rehearsals and routine refinement paid off, transforming both his technical ability and his confidence on stage.
“Watching David’s journey has been inspiring for all of us at Graf UK,” said Managing Director Matthew Rolph. “It’s a great example of what can happen when you challenge yourself to try something new.”
This year, David, and his co-stars, raised over £30,000 in support of Help for Heroes and of course, several of his colleagues were in the audience on the night, there to support and celebrate an incredible achievement.
More than a performance, David’s involvement is a reminder of what’s possible when you commit to something unfamiliar and give it your full attention. It doesn’t always end with applause, but the progress comes from showing up, doing the work, and pushing beyond what’s comfortable.
When was the last time you took on a challenge just to see what you were capable of? We’d love to hear from you.
