Hi. I’m Mark from WCI. We’re here in Devon at the lovely countryside installing a new 7PE GRAF sewage treatment plant, to serve the lovely property behind us. So, the location for the tank was, chose to be a pond, which the customer didn’t really want in the garden anymore. So we’ve excavated out the pond. Dug that all away and put it into a skip and currently, we’re doing a partial dig to assess the ground conditions, and then tomorrow we will be excavating further to the full depth, installing the tank and then ballasting with water from the outside tap from the property and then we will continue to backfill around the tank. We will install the kiosk and then final backfill to ground level with the tank.
And then we will be installing a pump line around to the outfall and then connecting up the tank to the sewage treatment plant. Then we will be decommissioning the Klargester onion which is towards the back of the garden, filling that up with gravel and then tidying up and reinstating. We chose the GRAF One2Clean because it’s a high quality German made product with a warranty on the tank, which is very important, and two years warranty on the technology. And it’s a very easy tank to install compared to the competition. It’s got the SBR reactor, which only runs for about 11 hours out of a 24 hour period, whereas most, if not all of the other competition, they run for a 24 hour period. So the electricity consumption is twice as much. So this was the preferred option to install a GRAF One2Clean.
