Innovative Design Features

No Electricity Required

The easyRock operates entirely without a power connection. Biological treatment happens naturally through the GRAFRock filter media, eliminating electricity costs and the risk of system failure during power outages.

Extra-Flat Design

Inlet invert 380mm-510mm, with extension sets available for a maximum inlet invert level of 1040mm. The easyRock’s shallow profile significantly reduces the depth of excavation needed, cutting installation time and cost – particularly on sites with difficult ground conditions.

Pack or Line Installation

The easyRock can be installed in Pack (side-by-side) or Line (in-series) configuration, with no additional accessories required to switch between the two. This makes it easy to adapt the system to your site layout on the day of installation.

GRAFRock Filter Media

GRAFRock is a highly efficient mineral carrier material purpose-designed for biological wastewater treatment. It provides a large surface area for beneficial bacteria to colonise and break down pollutants naturally, delivering reliable treatment performance year after year.

Groundwater Resistant

Engineered with an innovative anchoring system, the easyRock can be installed in areas with high groundwater levels – resistant up to the bottom edge of the inlet pipe. Suitable for all soil types.

Optional Raised Outlet

Where site conditions require it, an optional lift pump station provides a raised outlet for treated water discharge. The pump station includes a factory-mounted pump and level alarm for added peace of mind.

How it works

1. Primary Settlement

Wastewater from the property enters the primary clarifier, where heavier solids settle to the bottom as sludge and lighter materials rise to the surface. This initial separation removes the bulk of solid waste before the water moves on to the next stage.

2. Pre-Filtration

The settled wastewater passes through an integrated pre-filter, which captures remaining suspended particles and prevents them from entering the biological treatment stage. This protects the GRAFRock media and ensures consistent treatment performance.

3. Biological Treatment

The pre-filtered water is distributed evenly across the GRAFRock mineral filter media in the treatment unit. Naturally occurring bacteria colonise the large surface area of the GRAFRock, breaking down organic pollutants biologically without the need for electricity or mechanical aeration. The treated water is then discharged via a gravity outlet or, where required, through an optional lift pump station.
