GRAF UK Accumulator Challenge

At GRAF UK, giving back to the community is at the heart of what we do. That’s why we were thrilled to participate in the 2024 Accumulator Challenge, raising over £15,000 for Katharine House Hospice. This cause holds a special place in our hearts, and we are proud of our team’s efforts to contribute to such an incredible cause.

Our fundraising journey started with a festive Christmas-themed quiz, bringing our team and local community together for some fun and a good cause. It was a fantastic way to kick off the challenge, setting the stage for what was to come.

Next, we got creative by sponsoring the bar at Banbury Rugby Club. We pledged to donate 10p for every £1 spent behind the bar, which brought out great support from the rugby community and helped raise additional funds while everyone enjoyed a drink or two for a good cause.

But the pinnacle of our efforts was the 24-hour rowing challenge. Our team members took turns rowing the equivalent distance from our Glasgow office to our Banbury office—covering a staggering distance within just 24 hours. This activity alone helped us raise over £10,000! The determination and teamwork displayed during this challenge were inspiring, and the support we received from friends, family, and colleagues was overwhelming.

We’re immensely proud of what we accomplished together. Still, the real reward is knowing that these funds will help Katharine House Hospice continue its incredible work, supporting patients and their families when they need it most.

Thank you to everyone who contributed and cheered us on—whether you joined us at the quiz, had a drink at Banbury Rugby Club, or supported our rowers. Together, we’ve made a meaningful difference.
