Our best sellers

Just over two months ago, I shared a blog post about our lockdown experience and the explosion of sales of our compost bins during April to June (if you missed it, you can read it here).

As I write this in mid-August, I’m pleased to say things aren’t much different. It turns out, our compost bins are quite popular! Here are our top 2 best sellers…

Eco-King Compost Bin, 600 litres, Black (627002)

THERMO-Wood Compost Bin, 600 litres, Grey incl. soil fence (626051)

Back in April & May, we decided that the sudden interest and demand for our composters was due to the lack of green-waste collections by councils during lockdown, but this has since transitioned to a growing demand from people who actually want to produce their own compost. Perhaps having spent so much time working on their garden over the past few months, more and more people are realising the benefit of producing their own compost to use in the garden.

It does provide many benefits. Much more so than just having somewhere to throw your garden & food waste. Composting is helpful on many levels.

Our best compost bins, the two shown above included, all get shipped in flat-pack form, meaning they’re convenient for couriers and individual drop-shipping. They’re easy for the customer to assemble, plus we have several assembly videos on our YouTube channel in case people want to watch and follow along to make sure they get it right without fail.

They’re also easy to stock and keep on racking or shelves, meaning they can be taken away from stores if garden centres want to offer real convenience to their customers.

If you’re a retailer of garden products, either online or with physical stores, and you’d like to chat about opportunities to get these popular compost bins in front of your customers, please do let us know. We’d love to work together to continue to increase the number of people benefiting from producing their own compost to help in their garden.
