Combined Systems

More and more designers and engineers are realising the benefit of combining both stormwater attenuation and rainwater harvesting, within a combined system for efficient water management on new developments. These combined systems allow a certain storage volume of rainwater to be harvested and re-used so it is put to good use, whilst also using capacity within the tank to be available for stormwater collection when required. The following video explains exactly how these combined systems work and the benefits they can bring to a project.

You want to install a retention cistern, but don’t want to sacrifice the advantages of rainwater harvesting? The GRAF retention cistern is a combination of rainwater retention and rainwater harvesting. A larger tank is selected according to the requirements, allowing some of the rainwater to be used in addition to the required retention volume. Both the Platin and Carat underground tank ranges can be used for these combined systems. Click the downloads button above to view spec sheets and dimension drawings for everything you need to know.
