More and more designers and engineers are realising the benefit of combining both stormwater attenuation and rainwater harvesting, within a combined system for efficient water management on new developments. These combined systems allow a certain storage volume of rainwater to be harvested and re-used so it is put to good use, whilst also using capacity within the tank to be available for stormwater collection when required. You want to install a retention cistern, but don’t want to sacrifice the advantages of rainwater harvesting? The GRAF retention cistern is a combination of rainwater retention and rainwater harvesting. A larger tank is selected according to the requirements, allowing some of the rainwater to be used in addition to the required retention volume.
